Shopping For Shoes

shoesShopping for shoes is something that should not solely be associated with women. While there is some truth that women are crazier in terms of collecting shoes than men, the shoes that men wear definitely are a crucial factor in erecting an overall fashion statement.  To say that shoes are for women too is very sexist and stereotypical, as there are definitely thousands of men who are very conscious on mixing and matching their clothes to their shoes, and men who furiously collect several pairs of shoes, most of which outdoing other women shoe collectors.

This is an advice inside a cliché box, but in choosing men’s shoes, design, brand, color, and style should not come first over comfort. SO there’s really no sense of wearing Gucci or Bally or Kenneth Cole especially if your feet are aching in every step that you make. Next to comfort, we go to quality. Choose brands that have established themselves to be very durable. Unless you’re a model who can shop for shoes from time to time, it is definitely better to stick to the expensive ones that will last than to buy pairs on sale which you will use for weeks or a couple of months.

In wearing shoes, it is recommended to go for a pair whose color is a shade darker than your pants. This especially applies in formal and business environments. But when you’re in a casual set up, or party, or just chilling out, you can choose whatever color, as long as they complement the texture, color, and style of your clothes.
